2019/20 EABA Amateur Billiard Circuit (ABC) – Hall Sweeps to Victory
ABC #2 – Cambridge Snooker Centre. 27th October 2019.
Rob Hall returned from his Australian World Championship endeavours to take the second ranking event of the season, setting the days top break of 215, with two further centuries in the final. Craig Fitzpatrick was the beaten finalist, making a creditable 138 break to no avail in the final after earlier beating Nathan Mann in the semi final. ABC event one winner Mark Hirst had to settle for the semi-final this time, Hall’s breaks proving decisive. In the plate Matt Jackson hit a century (as did Hirst in an earlier round of the main) on the way to beating Adam Clarke, the two plate semi-finalists being ABC newcomers Jack Easter and Colin Dodd.
