Hall wins ABC-1 at the Atack!
On a day where 50 entrants turned up to compete at the Atack Rob Hall came out on top after cruising to victory In his later games.
The turnout followed a 52 field for the Joc McGregor at Landywood in May showing that once again entry numbers are thriving.
Rob beat Rob Marshall in the final 415-117 aided by a double century on the way.
Rob Marshall had overcome Martin Gawthrop in his semi final, whilst Hall beat John Mullane.
Marshall had done well to beat Peter Sheehan in his Q/F match rolling back the years with a strong all rounded performance.
Hall survived a scare in his last 16 match to edge out Darren Kell after the latter opened up with a century.
Losing quarter-finalists were Brian Barnett (who did well, winning three matches to reach this stage) Vs Hall, Marwood Vs Mullane, Mann Vs Gawthrop, and Sheehan Vs Marshall.
In the plate competition Alex Donne came out on top defeating Gary Norman in the final.
Gary did well juggling his playing with his TD hat.
Martin Phillips reached the semi finals of the plate with a good win over Adam Clarke.
Paul Robinson was the other losing semi finalist who was edged out by Donne.
The high break on the day was a 245 by Rob Hall in his first round match against Ian Dennis.
