The 2023 Annual General Meeting of the EABA will take place at The Cueball Club,
Mansfield Road, Derby, DE21 4AW Tel. 01332 360924 on Saturday 13th May at 2.00pm. All
members are invited and eligible to vote.
Propositions Must be proposed and seconded within the terms of the Constitution and be
received by the Secretary at least 7 days prior to the date of the AGM. Please note that
proposers and seconders must be fully paid-up members and attend the meeting.
Election of Officers must be proposed and seconded within the terms of the Constitution and
be received by the Secretary at least 7 days prior to the date of the AGM.
The following
positions are due for re-election, and we welcome individuals wanting to step up onto the
committee:
o Chairman
o Tournaments Secretary
o Treasurer
All non-officer members of the Committee are due for election – each for one year. Again, we
would welcome new committee members in this position.
The Jock MacGregor Handicap ranking event will take place at ‘The Cueball Club, Derby
’ on Sun 14h May. This will be the first ranking event for the 2023/24 season.
Play will commence at 11.00am. The entry fee is £20, and there will be a plate competition for
first round losers, and all prize monies will be dependent on number of entries. As normal
ranking events – entries taken on the day. Depending on entries round robin groups will be
implemented if numbers allow, otherwise it will be a knockout competition.
