2018/19 5th ABC Tournament – Harvey Misses Out

Rob Hall took the 5th EABA tournament of the season from veteran Brian Harvey who played well all tournament, Hall’s 194 and 128 breaks in the final proving too much. Harvey beat Adam Clarke in the first semi, Hall’s unfinished 49 proving decisive against Simon Snee in the other semi. Hall had a 195 in an earlier round that was the days top, Mark Hirst had a 144, Craig Fitzpatrick a 103 and Mark Hatton a 107.
Plate master John Hughes took his second consecutive plate prize from Eddie Fielding, beating Richard Whittle and Eddie Duggan respectively in the semi finals.
A mention for new players Graham Stevens, Darren Fox and Matt Spade – good to see new players at Eaba events.
